Students have to satisfy the general entrance requirements for CertHE or Degree courses, ACCA, as stated below.
They are in good health.
They have paid the prescribed fees.
They have good moral character.
Applicant accompanied by parents will have to appear in an interview with the Principal or Registrar.
Submit the prescribed affidavit with the admission form
CERHE IN SOCIAL SCIENCES
Students must be normally at least 18 years of age before 31st of December in the year they first register with the University.
AND
Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Certificate (FA./FSc) in Grades A, B, C or over 50% marks or an Equivalent
AND
Students have to pass UCI entrance test and interview
OR
General entrance requirements for degree students stated under degree courses
CertHE in Common Law
Students must be normally at least 18 years of age before 1st of September in the year they first register with the University.
AND
Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Certificate (FA./FSc) in Grades A, B, C or over 60% marks or an Equivalent
AND
Students have to pass UCI entrance test and interview
OR
General entrance requirements for degree students stated below under degree courses
Degree Courses
Students must normally be at least 17 years of age by 30 November in the year of registration,
2 ‘A’ Levels (A-E) and 3 further ‘O’ Level subjects at Grade C or above in non overlapping subjects
OR
3 GCE ‘A’ Level (EED) and with 1 ‘O’ Level subject at grade C or above
OR
BA, B. Com. or BSc First or Upper Second Division, or Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations in at least two subjects at Grade 3, 4 or 5.
AND
No less than Grade C in English Language at GCSE/GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent*
AND
‘O’ Level mathematics C or its equivalent* for BSc (EMFSS degrees).
For LLB degree ’O’ Level mathematics is not required.
GRADUATE DIPLOMAS
Students must hold bachelor degree or master degree (Level 6 or 7)
OR
HND (Level 5) with one year full time duration and two years of relevant experience
AND
‘O’ Level mathematics C or its equivalent* for BSc (EMFSS degrees)
AND
No less than Grade C in English Language at GCSE/GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent*
The Admissions Panel of the University of London will consider qualifications that do not meet it’s normal entrance requirement on a case by case basis and its decision will be final.
ACCA & FDA
FDA
Students must be at least 16 years of age AND matric/intermediate.
ACCA
Passes in two subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level and not less than Grade C in at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level including Mathematics and English. HSC can be considered equivalent to ‘O’ Levels or BA, BCom, BSc. The students that do not have this qualification will have to join FDA first.
