Scholarship Award:

A stipend of $27,082 per annum tax exempt (2018 rate)
A relocation reimbursement allowance up to $5,000 for international students moving from overseas in order to study at Deakin University.
For international students only: Tuition fee and overseas health coverage for the duration of four years.


  • Eligible Countries: This scholarship is open domestic and international candidates.
  • Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet Deakin’s PhD entry requirements, be enrolling full time and hold an Honours degree (First Class) or an equivalent standard Master’s degree with a substantial research component.   • English Language Requirements: The candidate should have a very good command of English language. Therefore, the application should be written in English.
