Introduction:
The PEEF has provided special scholarship quotas for Meritorious and deserving students of other provinces of pakistan. the provinces who can obtain this scholarship includes AJA, FATA, Gilgit Balitistan & islamabad Capital Territory. These scholarships are awarded to the students to pursue intermediate and graduation level education in their respective provinces.
Scholarship Allocation
The level wise allocation is as follows:
- These scholarships are awarded for Intermediate and Graduation level education only;
- 60% scholarships are allocated for Intermediate level education.
- 40% are earmarked for Graduation level education.
Eligibility Criteria
- The provincial / territory / entity domicile
- Passed Matriculation or Intermediate Examination held by the respective BIS
- Repeaters/ marks improvers are not eligible.
- Passed examination from Government School / College
- Secured at least 60% marks in the above mentioned examination
- Secured admission in a regular educational institution as a full time student in the academic year Monthly income of parents/guardian (from all sources) of Rs. 15,000/- or less
- Not availing any other educational scholarship during the academic year
- For Special Quota Scholarships, the student must fall in at least one of the S.Q categories
- Orphan Children
- Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4
- Children belonging to minority religion
- Special Children
Selection Process:
- The office of the provincial / territory Secretary Education acts as Focal office for the identification and selection of students for PEEF scholarships
- The Focal Office advertises PEEF scholarships in national & local dailies for identification of meritorious and deserving students
- The applications are invited on prescribed PEEF scholarship application forms
- All the received applications are scrutinized and assessed on merit
- The meritorious and deserving students are awarded PEEF scholarships

- The responsibility of intimation & selection of students for PEEF scholarship rests with the concerned Focal Office/ Focal person of other provinces, AJK, FATA & Islamabad Capital Territory.
- The Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4 are exempted from income limit criteria if salary is the only source of income
Centre of Excellence
- Center of Excellence (COE) is defined as academic institutions that have achieved high merit in the academic realm in terms of reputation, conduct and performance.
- The PEEF has allocated scholarship quotas to different COEs. The responsibility of selection of students for PEEF scholarship rests with the respective COE.
Eligibility Criteria
These scholarships are awarded to pursue study in top ranked partner institutions. In order to qualify to apply for the scholarship, the student must have
- Punjab domicile
- Secured at least 60% marks in last degree final exams
- Passed the examination as a regular student from:
- Government Institution, or Continuing scholar of the respective institution
- As a Private Candidate or
- Private Institution (low fee private institutions)
- Annual household income of families of the selected student is not more than Rs.180, 000/- for intermediate and 360,000 for graduation level studies.
- Satisfy the criteria for award of financial aid at the respective COE.
- Not availing any other educational scholarship during the respective academic year.
- The COE advertises PEEF scholarship and invites applications from eligible and deserving students.
- The institution constitutes a Scholarship Award Committee that scrutinizes all the applications as per PEEF eligibility criteria
- Scholarship Award Committee assess the financial need of students at the time of interview for PEEF scholarships
- PEEF finalize the award lists based on the information provided by the institution.
- Scholarship stipends are released to the institutions on bi annual/annual basis (as per signed MoU) which are disbursed to the PEEF scholars.

Punjab Board of Technical Education
- PEEF has allocated a quota of 468 scholarships for the students of PBTE.
- This quota includes both outreach and special quota scholarships.
- Quota has been allocated irrespective of gender of students.

- Passed Matric -Tech., Commercial and Technical PBTE examination from Govt. Institution or Private Affiliated Institutions
- Secured at least 60% marks
- Secured admission in a regular educational institution as a full time student in academic year
- Monthly income of parents/guardian (from all sources) is equal to or less than Rs 15,000/-
- For Special Quota Scholarships, the student must fall in at least one of the S.Q categories
- Orphan Children
- Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4
- Children belonging to minority religion

Selection Process
- The office of Secretary PBTE selects students for PEEF scholarships as per allocation and criteria
- PEEF scholarship application forms are filled by the candidates and returned to Secretary PBTE .
- The office of Secretary PBTE selects the students and sends the nominations to PEEF on the prescribed template for the award of scholarships.
- Stipend is released through the institutions where the students are currentlyenrolled.
